Tessa Smith – A small snack-sized bite, leaves readers thirsting for more! For readers who are fans of Twilight, True Blood, and those who crave a little sugar and spice over horror, Keach’s introductory short story is a charming and light origin tale of one woman’s journey into vampirism – the sweeter, sexier kind, but no sparkles, just more spice, and bite!
Ariel’s dream wedding turns to utter disappointment only to find herself swept into a magical world of forever bliss. However, there’s a catch. She must leave all behind for a world of endless youth, strength, and vitality, but only if she can survive insurmountable odds and unsavory customs of the vampire world. Oh! Yeah… and spawn another half-human, half-vamp baby for the cause.
For Ariel Landford, the choice is easy, but the path is fraught with risk and uncertainty unless she follows the rules of this strange and confusing world. Fortunately, she is not in this alone. Her half-vampire lover, Damien Vanburg, and his tight-knit undead family are there to support her in ways she never had in her human existence. Still, like everything in life, there are no guarantees – even for the undead.
